Description
The Technical Architect is responsible for reviewing the target architecture vision and roadmap of the company platform, evaluating and prioritizing roadmap items for platforms deployed globally, and translating them into designs and non-functional requirements for the Product Engineering team. This role requires excellent technical management and communication skills. The Technical Solutions Architect is also responsible for the architectural design, development, and deployment of the enterprise's overall systems. It defines system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Creates and leads the process of integrating IT systems to meet an organization's requirements.
Conducts a system architecture evaluation and collaborates with project management and product development teams to improve the architecture.
Evaluates project constraints to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and perform process re-engineering if required.
Analyzes the business impact that certain technical choices may have on a client’s business processes.
Adheres to enterprise architecture standards, procedures, and policies.
Data security management.
Develops systems architectures containing logical models of the components and interfaces involved.
Produces detailed component specifications from systems architectures, taking into consideration the intended uses of the architectures as a whole.
Ensures successful technical coherence within the business.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE?
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or Engineering preferred.
Extensive exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
Experience in business capability modelling and technical and solution architecture.
Experience and knowledge of digital and telecommunications industries strongly preferred.
