Senior Project Engineer Civil Design, Pretoria

PURPOSE :

Custodian of Civil Engineering for feasibility studies and ensure discipline engineering standards and specifications are defined and maintained throughout study development. Responsible for all technical and engineering aspects related to design through project lifecycle to ensure optimum performance to business requirements, organizational objectives, and sound engineering practice.

Act as an interface between project team and operational teams.

Minimum Qualifications&Requirements

BEng Civil Engineering

BSc Civil Engineering Management Development Programme (Desirable)

6 years of civil engineering principles and design experience

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Ability to lead technical aspects of design

Duties Operations

Support service delivery within department and project budget parameters.

Investigate complex engineering problems and develop solutions for optimization of engineering systems.

Technical contribution in individual skill area based on sound principles.

Increase awareness of tech advancements to ensure access to appropriate technology to meet business deliverables and expand technical base to access new areas of business.

Adhere to appropriate quality management systems.

Ensure skills and technology communication to business units.

Liaise with operational, maintenance, services, and project teams.
