Strategic Investment Sales&Business Growth

Develop and execute a national sales strategy to position alternative investment offerings as core components of diversified client portfolios. Drive asset inflows into alternative vehicles such as Private Equity and Private Debt funds. Identify and grow new channels—such as private banks, IFAs, multi-family offices, and institutional investors.Evaluate market and regulatory trends to inform product packaging, distribution, and positioning strategy. Oversee end-to-end sales operations including pipeline management, CRM optimisation, and investor onboarding. Conduct regular competitor and market scans to benchmark performance and identify tactical opportunities for investor acquisition.Ensure operational systems, processes, and investor touchpoints support a seamless, compliant, and high-quality experience. Provide performance reports, investor trends, and asset flow analysis to the executive team. Build and manage a team of highly skilled investment sales professionals and financial advisers.Define roles, performance targets, and commission structures; provide ongoing mentorship, skills development, and performance evaluation. Champion a high-performance culture grounded in ethics, client-centricity, and financial sophistication. Investor Engagement&Relationship Management

Lead strategic engagement with HNW clients, family offices, private banks, and wealth platforms. Develop bespoke investment solutions and co-investment opportunities tailored to client risk profiles and objectives. Act as a subject matter expert to communicate complex investment structures and strategies in an accessible, compelling manner.Compliance&Regulatory Oversight

Ensure full compliance with FAIS, FICA, POPIA and other financial regulations applicable to financial services. Monitor licensing and CPD status of advisers; collaborate with legal and compliance to mitigate risk and ensure ethical sales practices. Maintain stringent due diligence and KYC practices for all investors and investment structures.Cross-functional Collaboration&Reporting

Work closely with product, legal, marketing, investment, and operational teams to deliver cohesive go-to-market campaigns and investor education. Prepare strategic reports, market intelligence, and forecasting insights for executive decision-making. Represent the company at industry events, panels, and roadshows, enhancing brand credibility and investor trust.Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Industry Wealth/Investment Management certification at diploma level or Tertiary Degree in Finance or a related field. Preferred:

CFP or Postgraduate qualification in Wealth and/or Investment Management or Business Administration. Certifications:

RE5 (essential); RE1 (advantageous). Required Skills

Deep understanding of alternative investments, wealth management, and client suitability. Strong business development acumen with proven ability to convert sophisticated investors. Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Skilled communicator, able to present complex investment strategies with clarity and confidence.Data-literate, analytically minded, and commercially astute. High emotional intelligence, resilience, and strategic vision. Leadership experience in high-performance environments, with an emphasis on investor outcomes and regulatory discipline. Preferred Skills

Minimum 5 years in investment sales or distribution, with exposure to alternative investments. Strong track record of raising capital from HNW clients and sophisticated investors. Experience managing or working within a national adviser or distribution network.
