We are looking for a General Manager who can take full ownership of a dynamic hospitality business and turn operational excellence into measurable profit. This role is suited to a proven hospitality operator who is comfortable managing complexity and driving performance across multiple revenue streams.
This is a live-in position due to the nature of the operation. The successful candidate will:
- Be present during peak periods, including weekends and events
- Oversee evening operations where required
- Act as the on-site leader and face of the property
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The resort is a multi-revenue hospitality destination, combining luxury accommodation, conferencing, weddings, dining, wellness, and adventure experiences. We are seeking a commercially driven, operationally strong General Manager to take full ownership of the property and drive:
- Revenue growth across all business units
- Operational excellence and consistency
- Guest experience and brand reputation
- Team performance and accountability
- Cost control and profitability
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring a GM who thrives in a dynamic, multi-stream environment.
ROLE PURPOSE:
To lead, manage, and optimise all aspects of the resort operation, ensuring:
- Sustainable profitability
- Seamless day-to-day operations
- High service standards across all departments
- Strong team leadership and culture

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum 8–10 years' experience in senior hospitality leadership
- Proven experience as a:
- General Manager / Resort Manager / Lodge Manager
- Strong exposure to:
- Conferencing
- Weddings and events
- Food & Beverage operations
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Multi-department operational management
- Leadership and team development
- High attention to detail
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and guest engagement skills
