General Profiling () is a well-established, industry-leading steel service center, based just south of Johannesburg's CBD in Amalgam with over 300 staff and sales in the hundreds of millions. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Programmer. Duties&Responsibilities

Receive job cards and program the different jobs on the relevant machines. Ensure that the machines are constantly running. Complete priority job cards with urgency. Follow instructions given by the Programming Manager. Complete all instructions written in the nightshift book as a priority. Address shortages that are authorized immediately and ensure correct paperwork is supplied.All parts will be considered as new parts and must be taken from the appropriate drives. Ensure all nestings are placed at the appropriate machine by 4pm Monday– Thursday and 1pm on Fridays. Provide the nightshift material list to the forklift drivers before 13:00 Monday – Thursday and 11:00 on Fridays.Ensure jobs that require material are nested first so that material can be ordered before 11:00 the following day. Follow instructions on job cards. Desired Experience&Qualification

NQF level 4 Qualification (Grade 12) Degree / Diploma will be an advantage MS Office knowledge Preferably 1-3 years of working experience. Well versed in e-mail etiquette and MS Outlook with good writing skills. Advanced Excel skills. Ability to prioritize and work under pressure. Analytical&problem-solving skills. Proven experience with at least one of the following programs: Sigmanest, Tru-Tops, Tru-Tops Boost. Willingness to work shifts. Proactive, with strong initiative, planning and organizing skills, punctuality, teamwork, and conflict management abilities. Package&Remuneration

Monthly package will be market-related, depending on experience and track record. Cost to Company will include a standard Provident Fund and voluntary Medical Aid deduction.
