Duties&Responsibilities

Job&Company Description: A multinational corporation specializing in optical, imaging, and industrial is urgently looking for an Accounting Manager to join their tech-savvy and diverse finance team on a 12-month contract basis. This role will require an individual with a passion for accounting practices, economic principles, applicable laws, codes and regulations, and auditing practices.

The key responsibilities for this role will include: Manage the financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing, and other accounting functions for the organization. Ensuring the accounting policies and practices of the organization. Overseeing and evaluating the activities of the accounting staff.Prepare or lead preparation of reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position. Produce accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external use in accordance with GAAP and in compliance with section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. As you will be required to hit the ground running, extensive experience is essential.

Requirements: Qualification: CA(SA) with completed board exams.

Experience:

8 years accounting experience. Knowledge of GAAP and Sox. Good knowledge of budget management and financial risk management.
