An exciting career opportunity exists at Medipost Pharmacy , The primary purpose for this position is to assist and lead a team of Maintenance workers to complete tasks given to them by the Maintenance Manager, or any day-day and preventative maintenance. This Team Leader should be able to work independently and provide constructive feedback on work given and be able to assess the Maintenance Workers quality of work. The Team Leader is responsible for to ensure that all General Workers arrive and attend work as per their contracts, and to inform the Maintenance Manager if the policy is not followed correctly. The Team Leader should ensure that the General Workers are productive in their Day-to-Day work. The maintenance team leader should ensure that Air-conditioning systems is maintained in accordance to the preventative maintenance schedule.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assist the Maintenance Manager with all tasks entrusted Coordinate maintenance staff and/or contractors to ensure Company property and Assets are kept in perfect working condition (Preventative Maintenance) Inform the Maintenance Manager on all problems that need his attention and all material needed for the different tasks.Report back to Maintenance Manager on all problem and work done by the contractors Manage maintenance team attendance according to Company Policies Delegate tasks to meet maintenance schedule and satisfy Company needs Carry out frequent inspections of the facility to identify and resolve maintenance issuesSupervising and managing maintenance staff effectiveness and quality of work Plan and distribute tasks receive from the Maintenance Manager, other Managers and personnel as well as tasks obtained from physical inspection of all the different departments and outside areas. Supervise help and inspect all work done by the maintenance team.Escort and supervise contractors on site as and when instructed by the Maintenance Manager Oversee all installations and repairs done by own staff and or external contractors Control and monitor inventory of maintenance equipment / tools Contact and call out emergency contractors when needed when Maintenance Manager is not available. (On certain weekend and when he is on leave)Respond promptly to emergency calls for maintenance (includes after hours call out) On standby for emergencies and call outs on weekends as per the Standby schedule. Adherence to and manage good housekeeping practises Checking of electrical (lights), plumbing, air-condition and other systems to ensure functionality.Ensure all contractors on site comply fully with the OHS Act requirements Monitor all maintenance team leave. (Handing in of leave forms to Maintenance Manager) Complete overtime sheets and make sure it is hand in on time to Maintenance Manager Report all disciplinary actions to the Maintenance ManagerSpecific Requirements/Other important information Generator Start and run generators weekly to ensure the optimum work performance when needed Report any abnormalities to the Maintenance Manager HVAC o Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and fridges o Repair HVAC, cold rooms, freezers and fridges.o Monitor temperature probes o Fault finding on HVAC systems QUALICATIONS: MINIMUM Matric Formal refrigeration training IDEAL

Refrigeration trade test certificate EXPERIENCE: 5 years in refrigeration and HVAC Maintenance 2 facilities maintenance Electrical installations Knowledge TRAINING REQUIRED:
