Senior Financial Accountant CA(SA), Pretoria

A forward-thinking organisation, within the specialty chemicals and industrial water treatment industry, is seeking to appoint a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote working environment while supporting operations based in Pretoria.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a CA(SA) with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys taking ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decisions through accurate reporting, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports

Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls

Support the preparation of annual financial statements and external audits

Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational decision‑making

Job Experience&Qualifications:

CA(SA) qualification (non‑negotiable)

2–3 years’ post-qualification experience with Group/ large companies

Strong understanding of financial reporting and IFRS

Experience within manufacturing, chemicals, engineering, or related industries advantageous

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

Ability to work independently within a remote environment and manage deadlines effectively

US GAAP experience
