Job Title: Technical Sales Representative – Lightweight Steel
A dynamic and growing company in the lightweight steel industry is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Representative to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building client relationships, promoting lightweight steel solutions, and supporting project development through technical knowledge and design collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell lightweight steel products and solutions to clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, developers, and engineers
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads
  • Conduct client presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations
  • Interpret technical drawings and collaborate on project requirements using Revit
  • Assist clients with product specifications and technical support
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Travel to client sites, meetings, and industry events as required
  • Support marketing initiatives and brand promotion activities


Requirements
  • Previous experience in technical sales, preferably within construction, steel, or building materials industries
  • Knowledge of lightweight steel systems and construction processes
  • Proficiency in Revit software
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Understanding of marketing principles and client engagement strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly
  • Strong computer literacy and report-writing skills
