Patient Consultant - Weight Loss: Weight Doctors South Africa, Pretoria

Locations: Remote: Pretoria or Johannesburg based

Join our team as a Patient Consultant on a full-time basis (Remote: Pretoria or Johannesburg based)

As a Patient Consultant, you accompany our patients along their journey with the Weight Doctors – beginning with the initial contact, continuing to their treatment day and through to their post-treatment support.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide first contact support to patients
• Carry out consultations; understanding the patients' needs to share treatment recommendations
• Ensure patient wellbeing before, during and after their treatment
• Documentation and medical compliance;
• Treatment planning and coordination;
• Collaborate with nutritionists, doctors and surgeons before and after treatments; and
• Travel to clinic locations as required (Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town) - approx 1 day per week.

Your profile:

• Proven customer service experience with both online and face-to-face interaction
• Background in nutrition, health sciences is beneficial
• Previous professional experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
• Native English speaker with excellent oral and written communication skills, additional language skills ideal
