Description
Junior Operations Engineer (DevOps Focused)
 
We are looking for a Junior Operations Engineer with a DevOps mindset to join a fast-paced, global technology environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud-native technologies, automation, and system reliability, and who wants to grow in a collaborative Agile team.
You will play a critical role in supporting live systems, improving deployment pipelines, and helping modernize legacy platforms.



Essential Skills
  • Kubernetes deployment and configuration (Helm - NON-NEGOTIALBLE)
  • CI/CD pipeline setup and automation (e.g., GitHub Actions)
  • GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ArgoCD)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar)
  • Monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
  • Linux and scripting (Bash or similar)
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management)
Role & Responsibilities
  • Support incident, change, and problem management in a production environment
  • Build and maintain CI/CD and GitOps pipelines
  • Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes environments
  • Monitor systems and troubleshoot using metrics, logs, and alerts
  • Support system migrations and global rollout projects
  • Collaborate in an Agile (Scrum) team, participating in all ceremonies
  • Work closely with stakeholders and continuously improve DevOps processes
  • Maintain and support existing solutions to ensure system stability and performance
Advantageous Skills
  • Backend development exposure (Java, Kafka, APIs)
  • Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Understanding of design patterns and data-driven architecture
  • Knowledge of version control and branching strategies (Git)
Qualifications

Relevant IT degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience
