Description
Our client is looking for a Site Agent to join their team

Minimum requirements:
  • Minimum of 15 Years Experience
  • Post-Matric industry qualifications, certificates, and NQF-related (building/construction)  training will be advantageous
  • SACPCMP Registration will be advantageous
  • Must be able to supervise and control all site staff , subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  • Must have extensive experience across various types of building projects, including warehousing, shopping centres, office blocks, and high-rise buildings.
  • Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
  • Supervise and manage all site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient, safe, and effective project execution in line with project specifications, quality standards, and construction timelines.
  • Implement and monitor Quality Control measures to ensure a high standard of workmanship across all construction activities.
  • Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and company safety standards.
  • Possess sound knowledge of all aspects of building and construction processes.
  • Monitor site costs and implement measures to minimize material wastage and unnecessary expenditure.
  • Conduct and manage sub-contractor meetings to ensure work progress, coordination, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Oversee overall site operations and project management to ensure projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and to the required quality
  • Software proficiency: General Microsoft office
  • Contractual: JBCC general knowledge
