invites suitably qualified, innovative, result-oriented, and self‑driven candidates to apply for a 3‑year fixed‑term contract position.

Requirements

Grade 12 certificate

National Certificate/Diploma in Public Administration, Public Management, or Financial Management, or equivalent

At least 1 year experience in the administration of infrastructure and maintenance projects

Certificate in Project Management or Facilities Management is an added advantage

Competencies, Abilities, and Skills

Computer literacy (Microsoft packages)

Good interpersonal skills

Good organising and planning skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Analytical skills

Good problem‑solving skills

Financial management skills

Experience in customer‑care services

Knowledge of risk management principles, project scheduling, project management, and facilities management

Duties

Provide infrastructure and maintenance clerical support services within the component

Prepare for internal and external meetings

Minute‑taking, report writing, updating, and modifying of records

Keep and maintain the project filing system

Update project registers and statistics

Communicate with relevant role‑players and follow up on progress made

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement of departmental goods and services

Ensure effective flow of information and documents between the infrastructure office, Central Office staff, and campuses

Handle routine inquiries from contractors

Capture and update project‑related expenditures in the component

Salary: R181 599.00 plus 37% in lieu of benefits

Duration: 3 Year Fixed Term Contract
