Requirements:

Matric/NQF Level 4 Certificate plus a National Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in safety management.

1-2 years' work experience within the OHS and Safety Management field.

Knowledge and understanding of OHS related policies, processes, including COIDA, and safety management principles.

A valid driver’s license.

Duties:

Assist with daily management of statistics and records for OHS related matters.

Provide administrative support in coordination and implementation of safety, health, environmental and quality (SHEQ) initiatives.

Arrange logistics for OHS committee meetings and provide secretariat function.

Support in identification of hazards and risks in delivery sites.

Receive and record cases of injury on duty (IOJ), and COIDA applications.

Assist with implementation of OHS risk assessment.
