is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called:

JETP South Africa Transnet Decarbonisation Framework Loan

and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

Location : South Africa.

Duration : Q3 2026.

Non-Key Expert: Data Warehouse Engineer Minimum Qualifications and skills:

University degree in IT, Finance, Mathematics or related (min equivalent of a Bachelor), web design, data warehousing.

Proficiency in oral and written English language.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the maintenance of data warehouse/data lake tools.

Good knowledge of database management systems including monitoring and performance tuning (Sybase ASE&IQ, Oracle).

Strong technical knowledge in administration of ETL tools (such as IBM Infosphere DataStage, Talend, Informatica) and reporting tools (SAP Business Objects Suite or equivalent).

Experience working with Linux environments, Windows experience an advantage.

Experience using scripting languages: PowerShell and/or Bash.

Excellent knowledge of project management principles, methods and practices.

ITIL/ITSM experience in Change, Release, Incident and Problem Management would be an asset.
