Senior Network Solutions Architect– Tier 3 Escalations, Pretoria

Summary of Role We are seeking highly experienced Network Professional Services Consultant to provide Tier 3 level support on a consultation basis, primarily handling escalation calls across all network environments.

The role includes deep technical engagement in complex troubleshooting, architecture advisory, and high-level solution design, as well as participation in strategic projects involving network engineering, implementation, and optimization.

This position requires strong expertise across multi-vendor and multi-technology environments, including Cisco, F5, Check Point, and proxy solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex network incidents and outages.

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) across multiple network and security domains.

Troubleshoot and resolve critical and high-impact network issues.

Participate in network design, architecture, and solution planning.

Support deployment, configuration, and optimization of enterprise network solutions.

Provide technical consulting and best practice recommendations.

Contribute to network transformation and improvement initiatives.

Assist in project delivery, including design validation and implementation oversight.

Develop and maintain high-level technical documentation and standards.

Matric and a Degree

Cisco Certifications (Mandatory)

CCIE– Routing&Switching (Minimum 5 years' practical experience)

CCIE– Data Centre (Minimum 5 years' practical experience)

Mandatory Certifications

Certified CCIE (Routing and Switching) with a minimum of 5 years practical experience;

Certified CCIE (Security) with a minimum of 5 years practical experience;

Certified CCIE (Data Centre) with a minimum of 5 years practical experience;

CheckPoint CCSA and CCSE with a minimum of three (5) years practical experience; and

F5 BIG-IP Certified Technical Specialist with a minimum of three (5) years practical experience.
