Workshop Controller- Motor Dealership | Pretoria Gauteng We have a high-impact job vacancy for a technically strong Workshop Controller within a busy motor dealership environment.

Salary:

R35 000 - R50 000 per month + incentives + Benefits

This role requires a Red Seal qualified artisan with deep technical expertise who can confidently manage workshop operations while maintaining the highest quality and efficiency standards.

Min Requirements:

Red Seal Mechanic qualification (non-negotiable)

Proven experience as a Workshop Controller in a motor dealership

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability across vehicle systems

Previous experience as a Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Senior Technician, or Foreman is highly advantageous and preferred

Excellent understanding of workshop processes, efficiency, and productivity metrics

BSI experience

Ability to lead technicians and drive performance under pressure

Valid driver's licence

Key Responsibilities:

Control and manage full workshop operations, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity

Diagnose and support technicians on complex technical issues

Ensure accurate job allocation based on skill level and workshop capacity

Monitor WIP, turnaround times, and job quality

Enforce strict quality control and OEM compliance standards

Liaise effectively with service advisors, parts department, and customers where required
