Performance Marketing Specialist, Pretoria

We are looking for a commercially driven Senior Performance Marketing Specialist to lead and scale high-performing digital campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, and Display channels within a fast-paced retail/eCommerce environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on paid media experience, a highly analytical mindset, and a proven ability to drive ROAS, optimise conversion performance, and scale campaigns effectively while managing substantial budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Own and execute full-funnel paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, and Display

Scale and optimise high-performing campaigns while maintaining strong ROI and efficiency targets

Manage and optimise large advertising budgets across multiple digital channels

Analyse and improve key performance metrics including ROAS, CPA, CAC, and conversion rates

Lead A/B testing across creatives, audiences, landing pages, and offers

Ensure accurate campaign tracking and attribution using GA4, GTM, pixels, and UTMs

Collaborate closely with eCommerce, CRM, and Creative teams on campaign strategy and execution

Build reporting dashboards and provide actionable performance insights

Identify new growth opportunities across channels, audiences, and campaign strategies

Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, platform updates, and best practices

Key Requirements

5+ years experience in performance marketing (retail/eCommerce preferred)

Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads

Proven track record of scaling campaigns and managing large budgets

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action

Experience with GA4, GTM, and tracking/attribution setup

Solid understanding of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) principles

Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
