External Sales Representative, Pretoria

Our client is seeking experienced and motivated External Sales Representatives to expand and maintain its customer base across Gauteng, North West, and Limpopo. The successful candidates will be responsible for servicing existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships within the retail, hospitality, catering, and related sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Call on existing and prospective clients regularly
• Generate new business opportunities and increase sales
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Meet monthly sales targets and KPIs
• Conduct product presentations and promotions
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Submit regular sales reports and feedback
• Ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years external sales experience
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Experience in packaging, wholesale, FMCG, cleaning products, or related industries will be advantageous
• Self-disciplined and target-driven
• Valid driver’s licence essential
• Own reliable vehicle essential
• Willingness to travel extensively within allocated regions
• Computer literacy
