MacRobert Attorneys is looking for an Financial Accountant in the Accounts (Finance) Department of our Pretoria Branch.

Requirements

Duties:

Provide accounting services and perform capturing tasks (Journals) up to trial balance for all owned companies.
Manage financial records, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Assist with financial reporting and analysis, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Manage Intercompany Transfers.
Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records, manage invoicing and payments, and reconcile financial transactions.
Manage documentation and records, ensuring proper organisation, storage, and retrieval of information.
Monitor statutory timelines and submissions, ensuring compliance with tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
Prepare and file necessary documents and reports with relevant authorities.
General administration duties related to managing the finance sector.
Perform debtor analysis on long o/s debt.
Perform analysis of cost centre/income statement accounts to look for discrepencies/errors.
