Requirements
PN‑B1: Grade 12. Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council in terms of Government Notice 425 (diploma/degree in Nursing as a Professional Nurse). Post‑basic qualification of at least one year accredited with the SANC under Government Notice No R212 in the relevant speciality. Minimum of four (4) years appropriate experience as a Professional Nurse after registration with the SANC in General Nursing. Strong leadership, good communication, and sound interpersonal skills are required. Verified proof of experience.
PN‑B2: Grade 12. Basic qualification accredited with the SANC under Government Notice 425 (diploma/degree in Nursing) or equivalent. Post‑basic qualification of at least one year accredited with the SANC under Government Notice No R212 in the relevant speciality. Minimum of 14 years appropriate experience after registration as a Professional Nurse. At least ten (10) years of this experience must be in the speciality after completing the post‑basic qualification. Service certificates compulsory. South African Nursing Council annual practising certificate required.
Duties
Provision of optimal, holistic specialised nursing care with set standards and within a professional legal framework.
Effective utilisation of human, material and service resources.
Participation in training and research.
Provision of support to Nursing Services.
Maintain professional growth, ethical standards and development of self and subordinates.
