Responsibilities

Monthly bank statement processing on Pastel Partner

Perform bank reconciliations

Prepare and submit VAT201 and EMP201 monthly returns

Submit EMP501 bi-annually

Perform PROVTAX calculations

Capture customer and supplier invoices

Capture journals as required

Prepare monthly management accounts

Qualifications

Advanced Microsoft Office skills– Outlook&Excel

3 years’ SAIPA/SAICA articles (essential)

BCom Accounting or BCom Financial Management (completed)

Advanced Sage Pastel Partner skills

ACPAS skills (advantageous)

Ability to work under pressure

Excellent verbal and written communication

Bi-lingual (Afrikaans&English)

Willingness to learn and stay up to date with industry developments

Excellent organizational skills

Effective time management skills

Experience working across multiple data systems
