Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager who is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) to join our client's growing team at a startup mine in the mining industry in the Northern Cape.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the financial operations of the mine, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis

Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and stakeholders

Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

Provide financial guidance and support to senior management in decision‑making processes

Work closely with the CEO and other department heads to drive financial performance and optimize business operations

Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements

Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing mentorship and guidance as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with at least 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the mining industry

Strong technical skills in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Proven track record of successfully managing financial operations and driving business performance

Experience working with ERP systems and financial software applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams

Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on developing and motivating team members

Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing the mining industry in South Africa
