Job Description Job Overview We currently have an opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Huntswood within our Talent Acquisition team, based in Umhlanga, Durban. You will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment for our South Africa sites (Durban and Cape Town) for all advisor level roles. Working closely with senior stakeholders and your HR colleagues, your focus will be to recruit for immediate and planned requirements, build a strong talent pipeline, and develop and promote the Employer Brand.

Job Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of service and sales advisor roles– from sourcing, advertising, headhunting, screening, assessing and placement.

Adopt a hands‑on role throughout the recruitment cycle. Help define role requirements, identify appropriate recruitment channels, screen/interview/assess candidates, monitor pipelines through to salary negotiation and candidate acceptance.

Implement creative recruitment strategies to meet hiring demands across the business– using job boards, LinkedIn, networking, social media channels, referrals, and other methods as appropriate.

Work closely with hiring managers to assess internal talent, review and facilitate future talent moves, and assist with pre‑boarding of candidates.

Build strategic relationships with the leadership team, providing updates, insights, market intelligence, and communicating challenges, opportunities, and ideas.

Build strong external relationships to promote Huntswood as an Employer of Choice– develop and maintain productive working relationships with preferred external partners and vendors.

Maintain candidate and requisition data accurately on the ATS and produce accurate and timely reporting.

Assist with other ad‑hoc duties or projects as needed.

Job Requirements

Volume recruitment experience within BPO is essential.

Minimum of matric/NQF4 qualification.

Relevant HR tertiary qualification preferred.

A minimum of 3–5 years recruitment experience in a high‑volume environment.

Experience managing international campaigns– UK, USA, AUS.

Experience partnering with managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the recruitment process.

Preference for those who have recruited for a similar industry.

Must have competency‑based interviewing experience.

Skills Required

Must be well‑organised, emphasise quality and quick delivery, with a sense of urgency.

Must display a passion for recruitment with an innovative, creative, collaborative attitude.

Interview Process The process consists of two stages. Stage one is a meeting with the Head of Talent, focusing on your functional expertise, key competencies, and motivations. Stage two involves a discussion with a member of the Leadership Team, aimed at assessing cultural fit and further exploring your functional capability.
