Aircon Technician, Paterson

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of Matric
• Must have an Artisan Red Seal qualified Airconditioning and Refrigeration certification
• Minimum of 3 years' working experience post qualification as an Aircon / Refrigeration technician
• Highly experienced on all makes of aircons and fridges
• Must have good communication and reporting skills in English
• Must have a Code 8 / 10 Valid driver's license (no endorsements) (ESSENTIAL)
• Must have own reliable transport
• Must be willing to accept a live-in position, excluding meals
• Must have a clear criminal history

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Main duties & Job Function:

• The Aircon Technician will be responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all makes of aircons and fridges to the require hospitality standard
• The Aircon Technician will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager

• To effectively attend to all aircon and refrigeration issues to the required HOSPITALITY standard
• To continually be pro-active with regards all maintenance and preventative maintenance issues
• Communication skills with guests and fellow staff members
• Good organizational ability and lateral thinking ability
• Able to handle pressure, and still operate effectively
• Must Read and write English fluently
• Must have previous work experience and good references
• Willing to be on standby for emergencies at night, weekends and PHs
• Willing to assist in other maintenance tasks if required
