Our client has an opportunity available for a Financial Analyst and Planning based in Rivonia.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting,
• 3+ years' experience in a similar position.
• Sage X3 experience.
• Financial Modelling and Microsoft Excel advanced knowledge.
• CIMA qualification,
• Certified financial modelling certificate would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
• Identify and drive process improvements.
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools.
• Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation by creating forecasts and models.
• Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
• Work closely with the Financial Reporting and operations team to ensure accurate financial reporting that supports the analysis of data for decision making.
• Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Provide the analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
