Experience: Minimum 5 years in a payroll function responsible for all aspects of payroll, including:
- Sage payroll experience
- Onboarding employees
- Processing weekly wage payrolls
- Processing monthly payrolls
- Processing of all relevant monthly taxes and deductions, reconciliations, and appropriate submissions
- Payroll annual submissions
- EE annual submissions
- Issuing employee contracts
- Processing leave and payroll adjustments/deductions
- Reconciliation of appropriate accounting transactions
- Can manage payroll of around 250 people across multiple companies
Aptitude: Must have a high level of integrity, meticulous and accurate in carrying out their work, must be a team player and able to work with urgency when required. Must be excellent at achieving deadlines.
Skills: Advanced Excel, Sage Payroll, Intermediate Word, Previous knowledge of accounting systems
