Ruby Developer, Randburg

Education & Qualification Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• BSc or MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant tertiary qualification

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop robust, scalable and secure features
• Write clean, maintainable code
• You must be able to get involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Implement best practices of test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards

Experience and Skills Required:

• 3 - 5+ years' solid experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer 
• Extensive experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and jQuery
• Experience in the development of highly interactive applications
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Extensive knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
