Financial Controller, Sandton

Job Profile:

We are looking for a highly engaged and competent financial leader to manage our clients financial department. 

You would work as the lead Financial Controller, reporting directly to the CFO. You would also be in charge of a team of experienced and junior professionals working to service the companies needs which include but are not limited to managing everything to do with accounting, the financials, debtors, creditors, procurement and logistics.

Positions minimum requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce 
• At least 7 to 15 years experience, particularly in the mining sector
• Must have Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in and an ability to engage with and manage people
• Excellent organizational and admin skills, and able to work independently and accurate under pressure
• Deadline-driven
• Must work with honesty and integrity
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must have sober habits
• Strong administrative skills
• Good communication skills
