Group Accountant -Consolidation and HFM Support, Sandton

To assist the Financial Controllers in the Group financial consolidation and HFM support. To support the Financial Controller in executing the accounting and internal financial reporting requirements the business's Global Group subsidiaries. It's a complex business with over 100 subsidiaries operating in multiple jurisdictions across the world. i.e., Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mauritius, Lesotho, Burundi,
Kenya, Botswana, DRC, Israel, Nigeria, Rwanda, United Kingdom, Zambia among others. The incumbent to Ensure that financial information is communicated in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner and in compliance with IFRS. Provide support on the Consolidation system (HFM) to ensure that the reporting to the business is timely, accurate and in an appropriate form that enables key decision making by the executives, investors, operating companies, subcommittees, and Board

Accountable for:
? Operational HFM user support
? Group Monthly Consolidations
? Keeping and updating the Group audit and AFS tracker
? Preparation of the Group Finance Report
? Preparation of the Group Flash Report
? HFM user training
Qualifications:
? Bachelor of Commerce / Accounting Science
? CIMA/CFA/ACCA/CA
Experience
? Hyperion Financial Management as superuser – 3 years
? Financial Reporting Experience with exposure to preparation of complex multi-currency
consolidations, 5 years
Skills / Competencies
? Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management and SmartView
? Knowledge of IFRS essential as the companies in the group are all foreign-based companies.
? Good planning and organizational skills.
? Excellent analytical and communication skills
