SENIOR MANAGER GOVERNANCE, Sandton

Job Purpose
The Senior Manager Governance will be responsible for customer and governance and integrated planning enterprise wide. Will be responsible for the governance around marketing operations across the entire value chain. As a traveler experts, the Senior Manager Governance will be part of squads ensuring that across all the missions the governance practices are being adhered to. Will also
be required to conduct period analysis across the value chain to evaluate the consistency with which governance principles are being adhered to.

Job Responsibilities
Governance
• Develop and establish governance guardrails.
• Evaluate and manage all governance practices across all the missions.

Establish guardrails
• Establish best practice in the development of governance.
• Establish guardrails and governance framework to ensure adherence to process, compliance
and regulatory requirements are communicated and complied with.

Provide advisory role to missions
• Consult and provide advice on best practice from governance perspective.
• Monitor governance adherence across missions and in line with trends, identify
improvement opportunities and remedial actions and communicate these across chapters
and missions.

Chapter contribution
• Participate in the development of the Governance chapter initiatives for the overall
planning, and performance management, monitoring and tracking of effectiveness and to
better manage risks.

People Specification
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

• Qualification: Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
o Field of Study: A marketing relevant qualification
• Certifications: Governance related certification

Minimum Experience Level
• Total number of years of experience: 7 - 10 years
• Management experience as part of the above years: 6 - 7 years
• Type of experience: Experience working in cross-functional teams; Governance experience
from a marketing perspective.
