Bulk Material Engineer, Sandton

Minimum Requirements 

• Awarded a 4 or 5 year technical degree in science or engineering. Trained in leadership and project execution. Will be actively licensed with a local engineering governing body where required by law.
• ECSA Professional Registration
• Typically has 8+ years of relevant discipline experience. Has a strong background in discipline work and a competent understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices. Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.
• Design of bulk material handling systems comprised of belt conveyors, drag conveyors, bucket elevators, dust control systems and various specialty equipment components
• Coordinate and direct drafters and designers in the creation of drawings
• Design calculations for conveyors, feeders, bins, hoppers, and other bulk materials handling equipment.
