Mechatronics Engineer (FMCG), Paardekop

Our client, a well-established and progressive FMCG manufacturing company, based in Paarl, seeks to employ a qualified, organised and experienced Mechatronics Engineer, who has a background in the Electro-mechanical systems used in a fast paced FMCG environment.

Please note this role is suited to a candidate, who has a strong electro-mechanical and electrical designs and PLC programming background.

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have completed a BEng or BSc degree in Mechatronics, coupled with 3 -5 years experience in Electro-Mechanical and Electrical designs, as well as PLC programming (Siemens) and providing supervision at installation and commissioning phase.
• You will have a solid track record in providing technical support and training for customers, as well as being available to problem solve with field technicians.
• You must have working experience on servo drives in particular
• Due to the requirement to travel extensively, both nationally and internationally, you will be fully Covid vaccinated, in order to meet the requirements of various customer companies, as well as countries with covid vaccination regulations.
• You must have a valid driver's license, a clear credit and criminal record and your own reliable vehicle.
