About the Opportunity

Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency? Our client, a growing food manufacturing company specializing in granola and snack bars, is looking for a Stock Controller to join their team.

This role is all about making sure the right stock is available at the right time — keeping production moving smoothly, reducing waste, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. You'll work closely with production, warehouse, and compliance teams, becoming a key link in their supply chain success.

What You'll Be Doing

* *Keep it accurate:* Manage and monitor raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using an ERP system (Pastel Evolution).
* *Stay on top of counts:* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts, investigating and resolving variances.
* *Support production:* Issue stock to production, reconcile usage, and forecast material requirements.
* *Compliance matters:* Ensure FIFO/FEFO stock rotation, allergen control, and support audits (HACCP, FSSC 22000).
* *Be the go-to person:* Generate reports, assist with cost analysis, and maintain traceability records.

What We're Looking For

* *Qualifications:* Matric required; a Diploma in Supply Chain/Warehouse Management is an advantage.
* *Experience:* 3–5 years in stock control, preferably within FMCG or food manufacturing.
* *Systems knowledge:* Experience with ERP (SAP, Syspro, Sage, or similar) and advanced Excel.
* *Skills:* Strong numerical ability, problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication skills.
