Intermediate Phase Teacher, Sandton

A qualified and experienced Intermediate Phase Teacher is required to teach Mathematics, English, Natural Science, and Social Sciences. The role requires a proven track record of teaching excellence, experience with the CAPS or IEB curriculum, and the ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for students.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Phase) or equivalent
• SACE certification
• Minimum 5 years classroom experience teaching Grades 4-6
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, English, Natural Science, and Social Sciences
• Computer literacy, including MS Office and virtual classroom platforms

Key Performance Areas:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with CAPS/IEB curriculum
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives
• Manage classroom behaviour positively to support learning
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress
• Participate in school events, committees, and staff development initiatives
