Our client is embarking on a strategic AI enablement journey and is seeking a mid-level Project Manager to work closely with the COO on a critical AI initiative. You will be at the heart of the organisation’s AI governance, delivery, and reporting structures—owning coordination across multiple business units, interfacing with global technology partners, and ensuring that AI initiatives progress from idea to execution with discipline and transparency.This 12-month contract offers exposure to executive stakeholders, cutting-edge AI programmes, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on the organisation’s future operating model. Own scheduling, agendas, documentation, and follow-ups for AI OnRamp, Deep Dive, TRB, and Pre-Production Approval meetings Track AI initiatives from intake through deep dive to delivery, ensuring decisions and actions are executed Prepare and coordinate AI Council materials, including status, risks, and key decision itemsTrack council actions, owners, and follow-through between council cycles Coordinate inputs for the monthly AI reporting, ensuring data integrity and consistency Maintain a single consolidated view of AI initiatives across all business units Proactively flag delivery risks, overlaps, resourcing challenges, and delaysCoordinate AI-related training and certification programmes, tracking coverage and participation Act as the primary operational interface with Google, managing delivery-level queries and follow-ups Project manage the evolution of the AI platform, including platform upgrades and methodology updatesJob Experience&Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile

Education:

Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager Proven experience working with senior and executive stakeholders Strong IT project background (enterprise or digital environments preferred)Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and governance forums Skills: Excellent planning, organisation, and stakeholder management skills Strong documentation, reporting, and follow-up discipline Comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously High attention to detail and ability to work under pressureOther Requirements: Demonstrated interest in AI and emerging technologies Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with global technology partners Ability to operate independently and take ownership
