Sales Manager – Logistics (Import / Export & Distribution) A leading organisation within the Logistics, Import/Export and Distribution industry is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead business growth and manage a high-performing sales team.
This is a senior-level opportunity suited to a strategic hunter-leader with strong experience in air freight, ocean freight, road freight, warehousing, contract logistics, global tenders, and supply chain solutions

Role Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Driving personal sales performance and achieving revenue targets
  • Securing new business in freight forwarding, contract logistics and supply chain solutions
  • Leading major RFQs, RFPs and global tenders
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Building C-level and executive client relationships
  • Leading, mentoring and managing a sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Direct Sales
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Conduct high-level sales presentations
  • Negotiate high-value contracts
  • Develop strategic account plans
Sales Leadership
  • Set KPIs and monitor team performance
  • Conduct pipeline reviews and performance evaluations
  • Ensure CRM discipline and reporting accuracy
Strategic & Commercial Planning
  • Develop sales strategies to grow market share
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity
  • Prepare forecasts and revenue projections
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within the Logistics / Freight Forwarding / Contract Logistics industry (non-negotiable)
  • Proven track record in global tenders and large corporate accounts
  • Previous sales team management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, road freight, warehousing and supply chain services
  • Ability to build executive-level relationships and close high-value deals
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
