Business Sales Executive – Logistics (Import / Export | Air & Sea Freight | Freight Forwarding)
A leading organisation within the Logistics and Freight Forwarding industry is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Sales Executive to develop and grow their external sales division.
This opportunity is ideal for a strong hunter profile with proven experience in air freight, sea freight, freight forwarding, imports and exports.

Main Purpose of the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and increasing market share within the logistics sector
Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities
• Conduct cold calling and develop new client pipelines
• Prepare quotations, tenders, RFQs and RFIs
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity
• Provide logistics consulting solutions to clients
• Develop and exchange sales leads globally
• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients
• Achieve and exceed sales targets

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (essential)
• 3–5 years’ experience in Logistics Sales
• Strong background in Freight Forwarding Sales
• Air Freight & Sea Freight experience (non-negotiable)
• Imports & Exports experience essential
• Proven track record in new business development
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
