Purpose of the Role

The Recruitment Call Coaching Specialist is responsible for improving recruitment consultant performance through continuous coaching, call evaluations, communication development, and recruitment best-practice training.
This role focuses on enhancing the quality of student interactions, strengthening objection-handling and closing techniques, and supporting consultants to achieve higher conversion rates and stronger student engagement outcomes.
The successful candidate will work closely with recruitment managers and consultants to create a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high-performance recruitment excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Call Coaching & Performance Development
• Conduct daily and weekly call listening sessions and evaluations
• Provide real-time coaching and constructive feedback to recruitment consultants
• Identify strengths, development areas, and performance trends
• Support consultants in improving call structure, confidence, tone, and communication effectiveness
• Coach consultants on handling objections, student concerns, and difficult conversations
• Develop strategies to improve conversion and enrolment outcomes

Quality Assurance & Best Practice
• Monitor and maintain recruitment call quality standards
• Standardise recruitment best-practice approaches across teams
• Ensure student interactions remain professional, empathetic, and student-focused
• Identify recurring gaps and recommend targeted development interventions
• Assist in developing coaching scorecards and evaluation frameworks

Training & Onboarding Support
• Support onboarding and development of new recruitment consultants
• Facilitate coaching workshops, roleplays, and communication training sessions
• Assist managers with individual development plans and performance improvement support
• Reinforce recruitment processes, systems, and student engagement standards

Collaboration & Reporting
• Work closely with recruitment managers to align coaching priorities with business objectives
• Provide regular coaching reports, performance insights, and recommendations
• Share recurring trends and opportunities for team improvement
• Contribute toward building a positive, accountable, and high-performing recruitment culture

• Improvement in consultant conversion rates

Requirements
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in student recruitment, sales coaching, call coaching, or recruitment leadership
• Strong understanding of recruitment/sales and student engagement environments
• Experience conducting coaching sessions, call evaluations, and performance feedback
• Proven ability to improve sales or recruitment performance outcomes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities
