Role Overview A SEO Specialist (Mid) is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve client websites' and organic indexable platforms' search engine rankings and overall online visibility. They conduct keyword research, optimise on-page elements (meta tags, content, and internal linking), and ensure the website is technically sound for search engines to crawl and index. The role also involves analysing performance data, identifying trends, and making data‑driven decisions to enhance SEO efforts. The specialist works closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to align SEO strategies with broader business goals. They monitor algorithm updates, industry trends, and competitors' activities to adjust strategies accordingly, andmay manage off‑page SEO efforts such as link‑building campaigns and outreach to relevant online communities. Reporting and presenting insights on SEO performance to stakeholders is another key aspect of the role.

Key Responsibilities
Analyse and review websites for search engine optimisation.
Develop content that incorporates relevant keywords and phrases to increase website traffic.
Conduct testing on design, layout, and advertising techniques to optimise results.
Perform keyword research and SEO copywriting.
Review and advise on server‑side code (HTML, Java, etc.) and other technical aspects.
Attend relevant onsite client training events and meetings.
Prepare implementation plans and lead client onboarding.
Audit client properties using multiple toolsets.
Troubleshoot auditing and onboarding processes.
Work closely with clients and account managers to identify needs and provide solutions.
Participate in technical meetings with developers and negotiate solutions.
Execute work plans for clients, including link‑building.
Prepare and deliver effective client presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly status and results presentations.
Evaluate content quality and manage external content resources.
Identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
Consult on best practices with clients.
Develop content to increase website traffic.
Conduct testing to optimise website performance.
Provide advisory on technical rollout and strategy.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree, specialist certifications, or diplomas in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
SEO certifications (e.g., Google Search Ads, Google Analytics Individual Qualification, HubSpot SEO) are desirable but not mandatory.
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
Deep understanding of SEO principles, including on‑page, off‑page, and technical optimisation.
Proficiency with SEO tools and platforms (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and clients.

Content Marketing: ability to create and optimise high‑quality content.
