Minimum Requirements

• B Tech / BEng / BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Government Certificate of Competence (GCC Mechanical Factories)
• 5+ years' experience in heavy engineering (sugar industry preferred)
• Experience managing capital projects and plant modifications
• Understanding of milling, diffuser operations, and maintenance
• Asset management and condition-based monitoring expertise
• Proven leadership of maintenance and operations teams
• Skilled in planned maintenance systems and problem solving
• Strong leadership, communication, and Microsoft Office skills
• ISO 22000 knowledge (food safety standards) is an advantage

Key Focus Areas

• Lead extraction operations and maintenance teams
• Oversee operation and maintenance of Cane Preparation, Juice Extraction, and De-watering Mill plants
• Implement planned and routine maintenance strategies to maximize plant availability
• Control maintenance and operating budgets (in and off season)
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety procedures
• Investigate technical problems and deliver effective solutions
