Job Title: Chartered Accountant/Finance Manager Location: Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa Industry: Hospitality Hire Resolve is looking for a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant/Finance Manager to join our client's hospitality team in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our organization, managing financial planning and forecasting, budgeting, tax compliance, financial reporting, and auditing.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices

Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to drive sustainable growth

Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements

Manage external audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making

Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement

Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets

Manage the finance team and develop their skills through coaching and training

Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions

Requirements

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (newly qualified are welcome to apply)

At least 3-5 years of experience in a finance management role in the hospitality industry (preferred, but not required)

Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices

Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and accuracy

Knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with hotel management software is a plus, but not required

Experience managing multiple properties in a hotel group (bonus)
