External Sales Executive – Office Automation, Johannesburg

DIRECT SALES EXECUTIVE

Our client a leading office automation company is looking for a DIRECT SALES EXECUTIVE to promote the company's brand and image and to sell the company's products or services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas

Duties and Responsibilities

• Personally contact and secures new business accounts/customers and build a customer base
• Promote/sell/secure orders from prospective customers through cold calling based approach
• Demonstrate products and services to customers and assists them in selecting solutions best suited to their needs
• Make telephone calls and face-to-face visits and presentations to prospective customers
• Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
• Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends

Qualifications and Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Code B driver's license with a reliable car and cell phone
• Knowledge of the Office Automation, PBX, ICT, CCTV and Biometrics and Alternative Energy sector advantageous.
• At least 2 years' experience as a Sales Consultant
• No criminal record

Our client is negotiable regarding the salary, dependent on the candidate's qualifications and experience
