Financial Analyst – FP &A, Johannesburg

Description

Responsibilities:

Ownership, preparation and consolidation of the Region's Forecasts, Budget and Long-Range planning processes.
Management and completion of planning deliverables, including group planning reporting packs, cashflow outlook submissions and systems uploads.
Completion and maintenance of long term business models.
In collaboration with the Financial Analyst
Reporting, provide detailed and meaningful variance analysis and explanation on the Regions Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) looking at key drivers/movements/assumptions.
Develop, improve and drive efficiency in the Regions' FP&A reporting submissions.
Develop a successful, integrated partnership with local finance teams and separate Group teams such as Treasury, Tax, Procurement and Sustainability, to ensure a well-coordinated reporting process.
Assist the Manager : Finance Projects as required and participate in various projects and ad hoc analysis, where relevant, including support to the Finance Executive, CFO, executive teams and Group teams.
Financial modelling and analysis as required.

Required Qualifications:

Financial post graduate degree
Professional qualification (CA, CIMA) Required Experience: -
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience Other competencies include but are not limited to:
Excellent analytical skills are essential.
Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
Self-starter, who has the ability to work within a team and able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative.
Flexible and enthusiastic, keen to learn with thoroughness and accuracy.
Results driven - must be able to work under pressure across a global organisation engaging with multiple stakeholders.
Advanced level MS Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with budgeting and planning systems, preferably BPC/Onestream/HFM. -
