Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accuracy of billing and payment records Monitor and review credit limits, credit terms, and aging debtors Proactively contact customers to resolve payment issues and disputes Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer queries and provide necessary documentation and information Prepare and distribute reports on credit control activities and outstanding debt Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and credit files Follow company credit control policies and procedures Implement strategies to reduce bad debts and minimize credit risk

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role Strong knowledge of credit control practices, procedures, and regulations Excellent communication and negotiation skills Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred)
