Our client in the Specialised Insurance Services in Roodepoort is looking for a Financial Manager to the manage the day-to-day operations of the entity ensuring that the entity runs smoothly, manage the financial risks, optimize profitability and support in the strategic decision making of the company

Minimum requirements:

• Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with a valid certificate from SAICA
• Minimum 3+ years post-qualification experience
• Full accounting function of the group entities
• Assisting with the preparation of the financial statements
• Work closely with the internal and external auditors.
• Assisting with the preparation of the management accounts
• Invoicing
• All calculations and submissions to SARS (VAT, PAYE, Tax)
• Handling the payment of commissions to brokers and sending of statements
• Preparation of daily payment runs
• Assisting the FD/CFO with all regulatory reporting
• Preparation of documents required for meetings of the board and
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
• Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk mitigation measures committees
