Production Supervisor, Roodepoort

Our client a well established organisation in manufacturingis seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in versatile logistics, production, and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, quality control, and cost management.

Develop and implement production plans, ensuring that deadlines are met and products are delivered on time and within budget.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and logistics, to optimise production processes and ensure efficient resource allocation.

Implement and enforce safety and quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Continuously monitor and analyse production metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Manage and develop a team of production staff, providing coaching, training, and support as needed.

Requirements

Advantageous to have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in versatile logistics, production, and manufacturing environments.

Strong knowledge of production processes and techniques, as well as quality control and safety procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of production staff.

Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
