Junior Accountant

exists at a mine close to Rustenburg.

Duties&Responsibilities

Assist with monitoring and capturing

operational site costs , including plant, mining and maintenance costs

Support tracking and reconciliation of

diesel usage and consumption

Assist in compiling

monthly production and stock reports

Capture and maintain accurate financial and operational data

Assist with

cost variance analysis

and highlight discrepancies

Support the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations

Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation

Assist with general finance administration and audits as required

Desired Experience&Qualification

Diploma or Degree in

Accounting / Finance or related field

1–3 years’ experience

in an accounting or finance role (mining experience advantageous)

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Strong proficiency in

MS Excel

High attention to detail and accuracy

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a

fast-paced site environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Eagerness to learn and develop within the finance field

Package&Remuneration R 45 000 - R 55 000 CTC pm.
