Job Description

A leading organisation is seeking a skilled Data Analyst who thrives on uncovering trends, building predictive models, and driving smarter business decisions through data-driven analysis. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing structured datasets, developing statistical and predictive models, and delivering actionable insights that support operational and strategic objectives. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and the Senior Data Analyst to translate business questions into analytical solutions, validate reporting outputs, and improve overall decision-making capabilities across the business.

Responsibilities:

Analysing large datasets, developing and deploying predictive models. Supporting KPI and metric definitions, validating data accuracy, producing recurring and ad hoc reports. Collaborating with BI Developers to ensure dashboards align with business requirements. The role will also contribute to financial analysis, trend identification, forecasting support, and continuous improvement initiatives within the analytics environment.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. A postgraduate qualification is considered advantageous. Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, or applied analytics, preferably within the Financial Services industry. Strong experience in Python or R, SQL, Excel, and Power BI is essential, along with exposure to predictive modelling, data visualisation tools, and enterprise-scale datasets. Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms such as Azure ML, Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Oracle environments will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into valuable insights.
