The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid digital campaigns across search engines, social media, display networks, and other performance-driven channels. Using data analytics, A/B testing, and audience targeting, this role aims to maximize customer acquisition, drive sales, and enhance return on advertising spend (ROAS). The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to refine strategies, ensuring that all digital efforts align with business goals and deliver measurable growth.Responsibilities
Campaign Performance Reports: Detailed reports on the performance of marketing campaigns, including metrics like ROI, CPA, CTR, and conversion rates. Optimized Ad Content: Creation and refinement of ad copies, banners, and landing pages to improve engagement and conversion rates. Data-Driven Insights: Analysis of campaign data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for future strategies.Budget Allocation Plans: Efficient allocation of marketing budgets to maximize ROI across various channels. A/B Test Results: Reports on A/B testing outcomes to determine the most effective ad variations and strategies. Campaign Management : Planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and more.Data Analysis : Monitoring and analysing performance data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions. Collaboration : Working with Social Media Specialist and creative teams to develop compelling ad content and ensure alignment with business objectives. Optimization : Continuously testing and optimizing campaigns through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and other techniques. Market Research: Staying updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to identify new opportunities. Conduct market research to inform campaign strategies. Analyze competitors' pricing, products, and marketing techniques to ensure JSE’s digital marketing efforts remain competitiveReporting : Creating detailed reports on campaign performance and providing insights for improvement. SEO and SEM : Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices. Manage paid advertising campaigns to drive traffic and conversions to support divisional digital campaigns, such as Retail, HR talent EVP and acquisition, Capital Markets.Talent Recruitment
Support– Providing Talent Acquisition Support to the HR team in collaboration with Social Media Specialist. Stakeholder Relationship Management • Engagement: Actively engaging with stakeholders through JSE social media platforms by sharing relevant and accurate content, responding to comments, and participating in conversations.• Building Relationships: Establishing and nurturing relationships with colleagues and other internal stakeholders by maintaining consistent communication and showing appreciation for their support. • Feedback and Insights: Gathering feedback from stakeholders and platforms to understand theirneeds and expectations, and using this information to improve products, services, and strategies.• Crisis Communication: Managing and mitigating any negative feedback or crises by addressing concerns promptly and transparently. • Collaboration: Working with other departments within MCA and the rest of the organization to ensure that social media communications are aligned with overall business goals and strategies.Transformation and Innovation Contribution• Digital Transformation: Contribute to knowledge sharing and the shift from traditional marketing methods to digital platforms, ensuring the organization stays competitive in the digital age. • Data-Driven Decision Making: Implementing advanced analytics and data-driven strategies to enhance marketing effectiveness and efficiency.• Process Automation: Utilizing marketing automation tools to streamline campaign management, reduce manual tasks, and improve accuracy. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as sales, IT, and product development to align marketing strategies with overallbusiness goals.•
